well i was just looking at one of local dealership website..servco auto leeward.com..and im really in interested in the Xrs model and well the pricing for the 5spd AT is $19,830 MSRP..pretty sure that price is goin to go up since the dealership wants to make an extra dough..i dont want mines w/sunroof, w/o leather, just the basics, power windows, power locks, keyless entry and alarm..well my question is how much do you guys/gals think that MSRP price goin to go up?if you want to check out the page heres the link..

any opinions takin..thanx
there shouldn't be any dealer markup for the xrs. there will be plenty and not a limited production run. you have just looked at one dealership, visit others to get better dealers. since it just came out i doubt you will get a good deal on it but if you have patience it should be cheaper later

It's probably early to be looking for deals on the 2009s. They will build hundreds of thousands later and big discounts will come, but for now, they are only a few 2009s at dealers and they are more interested in getting rid of the '08s than dealing on 2009s.

There's no rush or supply shortage. You can order the exact car you want and depending on your location negotiate to below MSRP. I did this, ordered my "S" and waited 6 weeks, now I've got the exact car I wanted and paid 1500 under MSRP

from my knowledge, Servco only builds cars a certain way, so I don't know if you'd be able to special order one the way you want. They might pull the " If you want this 'option', you have to get this 'other option' blah blah.
