i have a 97 T100 3.4 5 speed with a ping.

Gonna need more info than that. Pinging because of fuel problems? What octane gas do are you running? Last time you got a tuneup? Under load or just idling? Any aftermarket mods? Running a supercharger?

Or is this a sound that sound like a ping? ;)
