'01 LC Speakers [Archive] - Toyota Forums

The driver door speakers are blown on my 2001 Land Cruiser. The factory JBL replacements from the dealer are ridiculous... $80+ for the upper (tweeter) and $300+ for the lower unit. I'd like to keep factory units but would like to find an alternative to buying them from the dealer. I cannot, however, find any info to help me locate them.

Does anyone know if there's a way to buy the factory replacements somewhere else? (I emailed JBL but they haven't responded.) Or has anyone replaced these factory speakers with something else and maintained or improved the original sound quality? If so, with what?
