To start I don't care if this has been covered in 07 posts this is late 08 and I want to here from people now since things change so fast.
I have had my Camry for a year in September 15.000 miles of every kind of driving you could think of. This car drives very well solid until around 90 then it gets a little light. The SE V6 however is like riding in the back seat of a DC 9 if you fly you know the sound a constant roar over 65 DCB and then you hit a bump and the same sound of the landing gear coming down almost exactly. Then you hit a stretch of road that is so quiet it is a shock. But the drive north from Colorado to San Dimas California was a roar for allot of the way to Bakersfield and Sequoia. Then heading back home vacation over from Vegas to Grand Junction Colorado was the roar again for hundreds of miles. I have the TRD 18" rims and Mich low profile tires that is part of it but dam it is loud at times. When people are yelling like the windows are down thats loud. So the second skin is the trick ????

Its the roads... Some highways in the US aren't made with the best material and tire roar is quite a problem.

Yep, my T1R are pretty quite but do make more noise on concrete highways...very quite on almost any other highway suitable surface. But in comparison, my Goodyears All-season I had before had the same problem....only that the noise on concrete was like an airliner taking off.
