njerald 04-06-2009, 06:08 PM Wow I really appreciate the "Help"
I guess being that you did it "Yourself" it would have been too much to simply answer the question rather then to tell someone to find then purchase a service manual then to attempt to locate the answer?
I guess it is true what everyone else says about you.
Tired of holding your hand, noob......................
knewbee 06-05-2009, 11:15 AM Tired of holding your hand, noob......................
Typo. Telling someone how stupid they are, how little they know about a subject while proclaiming how much you do, and then directing them to a dictionary, when all along you have the answer that takes shorter to write than your little elementary school "punishments" of 'go find it yourself, you noob of all noobs' isn't really "holding your hand".
Timmy, if the error still exists, try a different browser.
Also, there were a few other sites I was able to find on google for it

I personally disagree, just because you have a disability does not give you the right to lash out at anyone you want, when ever you want with what ever insults you feel you can think of.
A lot of people have pm's me attempting to explain your problem and to overlook it, however a disability does not give the person the right to insult at will whomever he feels.
It appears that you know the reaction you will get by your posted comments however you feel that even negative attention is better then no attention.
You might want to try and be constructive rather then insulting anyone you so please as the need arises.
I base these comments on 31 years of experience and reading the numerous posts you reply to.
This is a forum to help people by the most quick and efficient way as possible, not to ridicule them for their idea's, or questions which might seem simple to us but quite complicated to others.
Try and be helpful, you never know you might even gain some friends.
He has a disability?
Can't make babies? ;)
07onyxSE 06-05-2009, 06:48 PM The fold and unfold is done by reversing polarity on the white and grey wires. They have limit sensors which turn off the power to them once they meet their limits. If you use a DPDT relay with the mirror in the center position you supply positive and negative to upper or lower terminals and then reverse the leads on the lower terminals thus when ignition is on relay lifts to upper position and mirrors extend out and when ignition turned off relay collapses and power is supplied in reverse direction which folds them in.
Cool! that info is exactly what I was lookin for... I've been a member here on TN for awhile but never posted anything. I recently had my mirrors installed after waiting a long month to receive them. I wanted them either tied into the ignition or my alarm to fold/unfold when armed/disarmed. But my installer wasnt sure if the mirrors would continue to cycle the power once folded and possibly drain the battery. I currently have them on a switch and also hooked up to an auxillary channel off my alarm. I can control them with my alarm remote.

I must say, njerald does help...sometimes. Majority of the time are stupid remarks..........................
For all we know, he could be doing it all for attention or just to get his jollies off by seeing how we would respond.
Anyways, back on top......................................

Its cool that it comes with the connectors, jus keep in mind they are larger and more bulky then wires an its gonna be a pain to run a connector through the door rubber.
Pawel062 07-29-2009, 11:40 PM get same as njerald and use instructions here. save some money and some headaches.
