Hello everyone,
I just purchased a 96 t100 (and therefore, new to the site) and am having an issue with the light that indicates the engagement of the transmission (P,R,N,D,etc). The light doesn't change from "park". Not a huge issue to me, but the reverse lights aren't functioning because of it which is a deal breaker for an inspection sticker in MA. I only found one sensor on the drivers side of the tranny that is held with a keeper, but when I removed the keeper, the sensor doesn't pop out with mild persuasion. I'm reluctant to pull on it for obvious reasons. Am I even in the right dept for finding the problem and if so, how does the sensor come out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
