PDA Can I weld the frame of a late 80's early 90's p/u? tundrawolf 05-20-2009, 07:58 PM Hello, I have a friend who has a late 80's early 90's 2wd pickup. It seems to have the boxed frame. He wants me to attach a bumper to his frame, but I am worried about welding it. Is this frame a hydroformed frame and cannot be welded, or can I bolt and weld it? I appreciate any help.
