hey all.. i just bought a 90 toy pickup w the 3.0..306xxx mi.. auto

i drove it yesterday for a while drove great..
bought it today and drove it home.. over an hour..
truck ran great.. it had a slight stumble.. not under load or decelleration.. but when i was cruising on a flat road, truck at steady rpms.. it felt like a miss..
i just figured it meeded a tune up..

got home parked the truck and went inside.. came back out an hour later and it fired right up.. drove to the store. and it fired right up for the ride home..
i pulled the smashed stereo out and replaced the fuse..
messed around for a min and i jumped in to move the truck into the driveway and get a no start condition.
i pulled a plug wire and have spark..
i tried to get it to start w starting fluid no dice..
i pillud the dizzy cap and the rotor seems to be spinning the propper rotations as the motor
i pulled codes
12.. if i read this right would be the crank possition sensor.. this can cause a no start if i recall correctly? can anyone verify?
22. ect sensor circuit???? can someone help me w this code?
52.knock sensor circuit.. pretty self explanitory.. but this one shouldnt cause a non start codition.. right?

any help is very welcomed.. i cant tell you how stupid i feel just buyin a truck i cant drive.. ; )

i am new to these toyotas but am pretty efficient w jeeps and fords..

thanks for the help..

my friend at school has a jeep that hasnt been starting. we attend automotive school so he asked an instructor who has experience in the chrysler field his issue and the instructor said to get a new crank position sensor. i know that chrysler has no relevance to toyota but you two seem to be having the same problem. so my advice would be to get a new crank position sensor and try it. if that doesnt work investigate those other codes. they dont seem like the type of codes that prevent it from starting but its something to definitely investigate.

ok.. so i think i have asked the question before... what works as the possitioning sensor for the toyotas?

anyone??
i will agree w the guy on the jeep.. i know those things inside and out.. the cps will cause a no start condition or an intermittent dying while drive w a non start condition after.. had it happen plenty of times..
this toyota is starting on an average of once a day.. thats it!! no more but sometimes less..
its hot as hell here and hate wrenching on shit when its this hot..
so any clarification as to what sends the signal telling the computer when to fire would be nice..
thanks in advance for any help i get w this..
