Gonna sound Crazy!!!

Ok so i bought a bed cover on craigslist for 100 bucks matches perfect to my 1997 sr5 t100 dark green!!!
Avid Snowboarder and Surfer just got 2 longboards that now don't fit in the bed of the truck.
Wanted to install racks on the cover that will be used for both surf and snow boards.
Has anyone done this?? that is willing to give advice.
Have seen it on other trucks but not sure how to do it to fit both.

NO advice on the bedcover but how about getting camper cap (leer etc..) and putting a full roof rack on it...

You can put a full roof rack (thule, yakima...) on a hard tonneau just like a full camper cap. You'll need a set of the "fake gutter" cleats that are bolted onto the cap.

I wouldn't normally recommend adding this sort of thing yourself as you don't know what kind of reinforcement the covers that come with racks have... but surf boards don't weigh anything. A cap dealer should be able to hook you up with the necessary hardware.

The way it works on my camper cap is two metal cleats are bolted through the cap roof to the cap. Then, a thule gutter type foot fits over the cleat and clamps under it, just like it would on a vintage volvo or another car that actually had gutters.
