whole $@#&$&#% stereo in my truck went out

About 3wks ago, my whole radio sys went out on me, i had 2 fog lights gettin juice off the remote wire but just today rigged all my fog lights to run directly off the battery. The radio dont power on, nor did my amp when i had it connected(disconnected it b/c aint use it being hooked up if cant use it). All my fuses are good and the radio itself shouldnt be the problem, the wiring for the radio was all connected nothing loose or off. The radio fuse was blown but fixed that and still nothing. Would the remote wire have something to do with it or could it be the radio? And even then, the amp should still be gettin power but it wasnt, even though the line was hot i found out when it accidently touched the amps power cable.:confused::confused::confused:

If they wont run even with a new fuse and hot wire, you have either fried them, or blown some sort of internal fuse on the amp/sterio as well. Are you running your fogs with a relay or just switch??

What wiring did you tap into for your fogs?

Remote wire, this is a wire comming off your deck that tells the amp to turn on. You didn't tap into that wire...did you?
