Clutch Hard to depress

I'm having a wierd clutch problem as of today. When I depress the clutch, it feels like it is forcing back and only does it when the engine is running. It depresses fine when the engine is off.

It's not slipping and the gears shift fine. No noise that I can hear either, just feels like the clutch is pushing back when i push in.

Any thoughts?

Did you check the clutch pedal bracket (as the original stock had a tendency to crack)? How about the firewall condition where it bolts up to? ;)

I found those earlier posts a little while ago and that 's the first I'm doing when and if I can get her home tonight.

Clutch looks like it's been replaced within the last few years, however the spring looks wierd. It's not coiled like a regular spring, it's split/bent in the middle....I'll post a pic shortly. What it feels like when I press the clutch is that spring is too tight or something. Is there a fluid resevoir to check somewhere?
