What drive for cam timing [Archive] - Toyota Forums

I have a new XD and I have gone through the owners manual and the maintenance manual and cannot see any service mileage for changing a timing belt. This would make me assume that the car has a timing chain or timing gear. I know my 2008 Sienna has a chain so is it reasonable to think that maybe Toyota has gotten away from cam belts?
