how can you if its either? i can pump the clutch to and get pressure to shift. but if i push it in and leave it. it slowly looses pressure.

when i was bleeding the slave i had my wife pump the clutch and hold it down.. then i noticed if u wait a second or two the clutch fork pushes the slave back in even though the pedal is still down.

i dont think it's loosing any fluid anywhere. but maybe its in the boot i'll have to pull the boot off and check.

you should be able to buy rebuild kits for both parts from Napa. and it is very easy to do and alot cheaper then buying new ones. done it a couple time on a few trucks .but i have found it is best to both at the same time or when you fix just one it leads to the failure or the other shortly there after .good luck man

That's a typical sign of an internal leak in the MC, brake or clutch.
