my syncros are meshing rather slowly. Do you guys run any cocktails in our truck with any luck ? or is there a recommended gear oil that works well in our tranny ?
I'm running a 96 3.4L with the 5 speed manual.

Redline syntetic products are always recommended for the older trucks, specifically to get a GL-4 grand fluid instead of a GL-5. Hopefully someone can say whether this holds true for the T100 manual trannys or not.

Rum and coke works for me.
I'm running a good quality (Shell Spirax EW) GL-5 75W-90 throughout my 4WD. Tranny, transfer (A.D.D), front & rear differentials. It's good for the 2WD tranny and rear differential.

I was thinkin something a little classier, maybe a lime strawberry daiquiri or somehing, but that works.

Yes GL-4 is optimal from what I have read . Redline or Amsoil seem to be the top choices .
