Rear end clunk [Archive] - Toyota Forums

Hey guys.

Since I got my car, I've noticed that when I'm backing out of any venue, and I apply the breaks, there's a loud clunk that comes from the back of the car. I don't know how to further describe it... Kinda like someone threw a tennis ball at the back of my car, I guess. It's a 1993 LE 4 Cyl. Thanks for any help.

Check out the rear drum brakes. The self adjuster could be screwed up.
