Hi everyone,

I have a 1995 YO P/U 22re and i have just replace the timing chain water pump and oil pump. So the problem is i can't get the timing right. I know the chain is installed correctly because of pics on other sites and such also i can post pics of the installation i did also. And i've done this job once B4 on another yo truck 22re. I'm at TDC for a 22R or 5° BTDC for a 22RE/REC/RET and installing the rotor at 12 O'Oclock ive already torn it back apart once thats why i have the pics. But the timing won't snyc up. Not really sure how to say this but im either right b4 the timing marks or right after the timing marks. I've moved the dist so many times and it just wont run right. I can drive it with the timing kinda advanced but does not run right no power. well any help would b greatly appreciated. or if u have any other questions for me i will try to answer them..thanks

Are you 100% sure you got the chain on correctly? Did you compair the new and old chain to make sure they were the same??

Can you post your pictures?

pull the valve cover and check the crank is at TDC and the back side of the cam pulley should be a small arrow that goes TDC
