I was wondering why the picture only shows you going 185-195 km/h. Hahaha, you hit 200 km/h more than enough times. You're one crazy fella! Risking our lifes with old RE71's without any brake on the highway, going at an excess of 200km/h. :eek:

Have you gotten a silencer yet, Ken? I bought the gold rims today and they look mighty fine! I think I'm going to get a set of RE71's in a couple of months. I liked how your tires gripped. I can't afford no RE92's. Way out of my budget. Hehehe :wink:

As for the head, is there any warranty from your shop, saying that if the head was improperly installed that they will be liable for it? (i.e. it shooting a hole through my hood)

Ken, remember you told me that you could help me get the head swapped for around $600? Do you know what the labour alone would cost.. Excluding the replacement parts (i.e. gasket, plugs, whatever).

Kevin, you cannot get re71 in canada. they are discontinued from Bridgstones line. The only place i found them is in the US.

I'm telling you, ditch the head swaping sh**...buy a motor and i'll put it in for you. YOu're wasting your money otherwise.

get the hoosier dot slicks for track....i think i'm gonna grab some...i've been hearing good stuff about them..from racers themselves. either that or the yokes a032r's. or maybe i'll pick up some jdm tires...advan neova's or falken azenis.

Andrew, the gold rims I'm referring to are those from the 1985 GT-S model Corollas. The same ones on my car, but painted gold.. factory color too.

I'm likely to go with Kumhos for tires.

20 valve swap? Nah man, I'm not going to even contemplate having a 20 valve until I have a secong reliable vehicle. Well actually, I do, but something more reliable or trouble-free.

Actually, I think I've told you right? I'm probably going to leave it to Yoshio to do the swap. I don't care how much he charges me as long as I get top-notch quality.

Heck, me don't know even if I can make enough for a good set of tires. :lol:

I need a part-time at a gas station. Maybe that will improve my skills. :roll:
