isn't every other TRD supercharger an eaton?

shouldn't that be putting down moe power then? or they're probably gonna lower boost :rolleyes:
and vortech's are centrifugal, right?

i think they are using one that is based on the civic type supercharger since they have it for vtec and the tc has vvti witch is about the same they figure it should work properly

Cam phasing vs. cam changing aren't about the same though. I think those are the right terms...no one's corrected me for a while.
Maybe they just wanted to branch out beyond Eatons?

good call, vtec is completely different.
and also, JR superchargers (which work with vtec) are all eaton, and TRD are mostly eaton, and the 1ZZ has vvti, so it obviously will work with that. maybe they just wanted a vortech because it's a scion, so it's a bit more upgradeable
