How sick would that be to lift an xB... does anyone have any custom pics of a lifted xB? Send to: specialblend619@yahoo.com

Lifting an xB? it this the reverse of lowering it? Making the car higher off the ground?

It could look nice if it was done right, make it look like mini off-road 4x4. You would probably need some new wheels to make it look right.

Yes. Thats exactly what I mean. The short wheel base what be good for offroading. Kinda like those little Samurais.

How funny is it that I had a dream one night shortly after buying my XB, that I 'froaded, it and it was so kewl, fiberglass fenders and a Cali. lift and everything...... my fiance was also commenting the other day about how neat it would be if they made a sort of "Samuari" verison. I don't think that the current style would hold up in an off-road environment only because of the height, you'd have to chop it......... anyone have photoshop ability to make a concept drawing???

P.S. just out of curiosity I checked to see where you were from Circa6p, only someone from SD would think of that ;) I have a pickup that is desert ready and I guess it's just in our heads to take our vehicles to Ocotillo or Glamis!!! Woot woot for the desert!!!!

I think that it would be sick, as in it would make me sick to see someone to that to the vehicle. Buy a truck if you want something tall, or an SUV.

I thought the Suzuki Samurais were dangerous because they tipped over easily... I seem to recall having a neighbor who got rid of one for that reason...

the chopped "Samurai" version is problematic...in order to look right you need to shorten the rear doors...and probably move the rear seat forward...otherwise it just looks bad.

Apologies to psionic for jacking up his car via Photoshop...this is probably what a 4" or 5" lift would look like??

It's totally cool, Pioneer lifted one and put some swampers on it, and just so you know, the story about the samurai's rolling over, the first production year they had that problem, but quickly changed the wheelbase to correct in the later years, I believe it was the '84 model, not positive though. I have 3 samurai's now but have been through 8 in my driving years.http://www.xtremeresources.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12939

I think that it would look retarded. Judging by the photoshop, it just looks funny:thumbdown .
