Just got a 88 GTS as a project car. I'm looking for parts online and can't seem to find much. Anyone know of any good links? Also, can't seem to find any suspension choices for it other than eibach progressives and tokico blues.

Any help is appreciated.

for your car exactly..... um, you can find some suspension parts on tirerack.com, some more on http://www.racesearch.com (you can find more there too).... any place that sells parts for the 4a-ge engine (which is pretty easy since it came in some ae-86's and in the late 80's mr2's....) and there's tons of parts for that engine.... TRD of course... then of course you can go to a muffler shop to get that done (though, on a japanese website, no i dont read it it was in english, i found out that greddy makes an exhaust for the ae-92 2 door....) wheels are easy to find, interior can all be done custom... though there aren't "kits" for turboing your car you can..... there's a lot... just keep looking

For suspension,

Struts: You have KYB, Tokico's..
Springs: you can also get APEX (that's what I have).
Cosmetics: Not alot of parts for our model, you'll have to do the "home" thing...

I've been through hell to make my car the way it is, and now I need to go through hell again to find a good engine swap for it..

How do you like your suspension techniques springs?

actually they're really nice..... the ride (w/ the kyb gr2's) is only a little bumpier on those pesky trailer lanes...... other than that it's a lot better for handling.... the only thing.... if you notice on our cars, the front wheel well is larger than the rear, so when i lowered the car (though the body sat parallel to the groiund) the back LOOKED lower than the front b/c the wheel went farther into the wheel well (though it's only because the rear one is smaller)..... but i like it, low enough it looks good, not ridiculously low.... and not so low that i need a camber kit (i don't even think mine is off... when i got the alignment they didn't say anything about it being off)..... and it's not bouncy like a lot of cars are out there..... but if you do install them and you don't like it because it's not low enough... it will sink another .25-.5 inches more.... so it looks a little better

I live in Southern California. I've been looking into Ground Control coilovers but I've seen the APEX stuff and it's very nice. Looking into HKS exhaust. Seems like that's the most available and pretty reasonable in price. I could be wrong tho, I haven't been able to find much researching the net.

In case you haven't seen this yet. Check out http://www.nopionline.com for a good variety of parts.

i don't remember the site, but i've been to it before.....it's a japanese site (but actually in english...lol) and it's for greddy parts for the ae-92 corolla gtz.... and they make a bunch of parts for the japanese gtz, including exhaust.... so, that might actually work out.... but you'd have to find that site (btw... some hints for searching.... when looking for performance companies you might want to type in ae-92 or something like that, or like 4a-ge).... i've actually found a lot of sites that way....
