Air filter rec's for noob '02 Taco

Hi,
just got a new-to-me '02 crew cab 4x TRD Tacoma to replace a '92 Toy pickup.
Loving it, but wondered if anyone could give first hand recommendation on an aftermarket air filter. Tru-flo, K&N, or other, (or experience with any aftermarket intake systems) and if you noticed any difference at all in intake sound or performance with just the filter change.
Also where you purchased if on-line.

What engine do you have? I would suggest the Amsoil air filter. Take a look at www.amsoil.com and take a look at their site. Along with myself, many others are using the filter with great results and no, there will be no difference in intake sound with an aftermarket filter, unless you get a "cold air" intake, but IMO, it's just a waste of money.

Thanks for your reply, I will check out the Amsoil filter. I am not a fan of the cold air intakes either.
What are the feelings on the ISR? mod. The one that eliminates the resonance chamber?

I haven't done it yet, but it just makes a louder sound when you ride the gas pedal. Sounds kinda neat at first, but you get used to it. Not really a performance mod so it won't give you any HP.
