I have a 2002 IS300 (5 speed) and was thinking about running a 70 shot, what do you think?

SpectraBlueCam 09-15-2001, 02:39 AM Welcome to the forum! I hear that a turbo kit is in development for the IS. May want to wait for that. Jzs147-RR 09-20-2001, 12:34 AM Im sure its possible but a custum turbo may save you money in the long term cause No2 always ends up damaging engines.I have used alot of NOS and can only say its nice while it lasts. captain tofu 09-20-2001, 10:54 PM NOS is safe to use if you use it only once in a while. If you use it seven times a day, I am sure your engine will screw up soon. GGPIS300 11-08-2001, 04:25 PM Nos can be added to the is300, it needs to be a wet system from what i hear, it can be added, i know Adrey on http://www.is300.net has a custom set up with NOS and he loves it in his is300. Maximus75 01-02-2002, 10:36 PM The IS300 engine is capable of handling a 70 shot easy. But I would recommend the turbo kit. I know there out there because I've already seen two of them with turbos. If you are going to go with nos I would recommend a wet system. I also remember someone at clublexus talking about a supercharger kit a while back. Flipside909 [SC³] 01-03-2002, 04:03 AM Yeah, XS engineering's IS300 turbo is nuts. I got a chance to hear it at the ClubLexus IS300.net meet in Carson Toyota earlier this year. Area 51 did a centrifugal S/C for the IS as well. The kit was being sold on eBay last week! As for the TRD S/C, that has yet to be released for L-Tuned. Skunkworks77 12-05-2004, 01:46 AM Run Nos both wet and dry. Then install the turbo kit afterwards. Toysrme 12-05-2004, 12:39 PM There are a bunch of turbo is300's. ClubLexus.com | |
