You could throw in a 2nd gen 4AG bigport/smallport, 4AGZ (supercharged), the JDM 20valve 4AG (silver or blacktop), or a 7AFwich can be converted to the 7AG hybrid (4AG head & pistons in the 7AF block, makes for a good stroker motor if you have the time and money to work on it). REN69 04-17-2005, 09:46 AM I swear every newb we get asks this on a daily basis... we're gonna have to sticky them eventually. :) micro214_kp61 04-17-2005, 10:40 AM 4A-GZTTE with 150 shot NOS RakeRon 04-17-2005, 05:04 PM 4A-GZTTE with 150 shot NOS :clap::lol::clap::lol::clap::werd: REN69 04-17-2005, 05:09 PM 150?? that's not enough!! TTT RakeRon 04-17-2005, 10:41 PM 3SGTE is gonna be tricky. Figuring you'll have to find a FWD tranny (most likely out of a 4th gen Celica GT-S, the MR2 trannies have the shift cable on the opposite side and you can't use an A series tranny without an adapter of some kind) and you'll have to fabricate mounts for everything. Only A series engines are direct bolt-on so you're looking at it being alot more exspensive then a normal swap. REN69 04-17-2005, 11:08 PM The GZE tranny won't bolt on to the 3SGTE.. your best bet would be getting a 3SGE transmission from a Celica.. I'm feeling dejavu for some reason right now. anyways.. the 3SGTE is a possible swap, but if you don't have the experience, the right parts, or even some friends who do.. it will be very expensive, as you will have to get a lot of parts fabricated. Solarus 04-17-2005, 11:16 PM 3s might bolt up to a -gze transmission. I know that they are internally the same MTX. toyotaspeed90 04-18-2005, 02:45 AM The GZE tranny won't bolt on to the 3SGTE.. your best bet would be getting a 3SGE transmission from a Celica.. We're trying to beat Civics here!! we're gonna need stickers too! :) haha i know thats right bro, my cousin says he can beat me with his 92 civic hatchback with a b16a2 swap and my ae101 with a 4age 20v with custom turbo setup. i don't think i can win thought after all he does have vtec at least thats what he said. :disappoin j/k dub-g-kizzle 04-27-2008, 03:12 PM The b16a2 del sol motor is a p.o.s. and in no way can compare to a 20v 4age motor especially if u turbo the 20v engine. And to be clear vtec is variable timing electronically controlled which toyota invented and perfected long before honda. As anyone knows the toyota 20 valve vvt(variable valve timing) was produced a few years earlier than hondas crummy vtec. Someone needs to do their research. | |
