First off, trying to install my first system!

I have:

Alpine cda-9833
Toyota camry 1993 LE

My problem:

I have a positive and negitive dimmer/illumination leads on my camry wiring harness, but only one illumination/dimmer wire on my Alpine wiring harness. In addition the single wire on the Alpine harness has a really wired end on it.

Pics:

1. Picture showing + and - wires on toyota harness and the one wire on the Alpine wiring harness.

2. Shows the odd end on the wire of the Alpine harness.

3. Bad picture of manual, but you can still make out the words without too much trouble.

Any help would be much appreciated! I have Alpine type R's waiting to go into the front and Type S' waiting to go into the back once I get my deck finished.

If you need any more info please ask and I will take as many pictures and try to give whatever info I know ( ) about the harness' and the car.

Thank you very much!

Splice the orange wire from the Toyota harness to the orange wire of the Alpine harness.

You won't use the orange/black wire from the Toyota harness. Tape off or cap off (crimp connector) the end of it.

About the wierd connector on the Alpine harness, its a bullet style connector. You can get bullet style crimps, cut off the connecter and solder + heatshrink or tape, or cut off the connecter and use some other style of crimp connector.
