I love the navigation, it really helps, especially here in Hollywood, CA. Digital climate control makes comfort seamless -- it just does it all for you. I have some pictures from the day I bought the car.

Nice! Great choice for a car.

I'm trying to convince my wife to get the V6 Camry over the 4 cyl.

On the Navigation system, can you change the dvd's or is it locked away so you cant touch it?

Real men (assuming you're a dude, if otherwise, pics pls  ) don't need maps :hammer: Other than that, nice ride and welcome to our humble forum :D

hm... i'm really not sure if the DVD is removable. i know the system is in the trunk, but i've yet to open it up and see what's inside.. maybe i should. then again if it works, who cares? hehe.

So does this mean you cannot watch regular DVD movies?

the DVD based navigation does not work with DVD movies, only DVD Map discs. There may be a way to make it take DVD's but none that I have found so far. I don't care what anyone says about "Real men" not needing maps -- It's damn helpful and if I am not a real man than -- so what! Do only real men drive 4x4s? if so, I guess I am a fake man.

My girlfriend loves the Navigation -- it talks to you as you find your destination - very helpful. I named her Liota - Liota the Toyota.

I recall a discussion some time ago over @ www.IS300.net about hacking into the menu screen. I'm not sure how for they managed to get. If you're curious, due a little research.
