CARNOVICE

Help,
after much evaluation, I’ve decided to get rid of my old Toyota ’91
Camry, 159K, would run great if not for the almost dead transmission.
Is it possible to sell this car (for example for parts? or as is?), in
what otherwise might be in fairly good condition automobile? The car’s
main problem is that it needs a transmission replacement, and it is
not worth for me to fix it at this point. What is the best way for me
to sell it? to a junk yard? is there a trade magazine or website that
would facilitate these type of transactions?
From a previous posting, I’ve been told that the prospective transaxle
replacement for an AllTrac Camry will be relatively expensive due to
the labor involved to remove and replace it since it’s wedged in the
frame fairly tight. Also, finding a remanufactured unit may be even
much more expensive due to their scarcity.

Any suggestions for me to be able to sell this car would be greatly
welcomed.
Thanks,
-J
