Kinezo 07-04-2001, 10:12 PM I'm not sure as I've never had any experience with an older Celica, however they're known to be heavy (I think?) But I'm sure if you can get your hands on an All-track, you'll have no problems (and tons of fun!) Dez Ratko 07-04-2001, 10:21 PM Thats a really good idea CamryRR... Forgot about the older Celica all-tracks as a winter car... wow    Jzs147-RR 07-04-2001, 10:42 PM Im going to try to find a AWD one but they are rare and if i do i hope it will be cheap. My last winter beater was a Toyota Celica Supra but i killed it and had to scrap it,it was the best winter car for me fun to drive. Ratko 07-04-2001, 10:45 PM Yup. I want a car that can *drift* ... rally style! yet keep control. Here in canada, during the winter, its all about "drift" EKam 07-04-2001, 11:02 PM On 2001-07-04 22:45, Ratko wrote: Here in canada, during the winter, its all about "drift" Right... not so in the Camry. It's all about "heavy understeer"... SpectraBlueCam 07-04-2001, 11:39 PM Hey Ben! Wassup! I was looking for a winter beater too after getting a fresh coat of paint on the Cam. But it's probably not gonna happen due to "serious financial constraints." Anyhow, when I was looking, the older Celica GTS was one of the cars I was looking at. The other one was the Corolla GTS/SR5. Check http://www.autonet.ca and http://www.autotrader.ca for listings. Hope to see you at the meet on the 14th. Jzs147-RR 07-04-2001, 11:44 PM Thanks man i will look at the cars there tomorow and see if i can squeeze that into my budget.I will be there on the 14th i just hope you guys will show up this time 9 hours of driving is alot for nothing. SpectraBlueCam 07-05-2001, 12:02 AM Last time was our bad. Can't wait to see and hear your SC! _________________ Jeff 1995 Camry 5S-FE All show! No go! The 2wd version dominates on ice and snow, and they sit like trucks, so i imagine a 4wd version would do just as well, and with out the pain in the ass that a GT4 would be! | |
