I got the exact same reply from my Detroit friend who drives a Chevy Silverado and if he was ever behind me on a traffic light. He used to press his brakes and accelerator at the same time and create smoke behind me to show AMERICAN MUSCLE !!

What he doesn't understand is that this is not 1980s anymore and Toyotas have got a lot of muscle too now as proved at the NASCAR.

I had a Toyota Tacoma picture in my office there and I almost got fired for it because some GM official saw it and was offended..... too bad I don't work for them anymore !

Yeah, I get called a "Jap Lover" on that forum a lot and people on there flame me a lot for my views.
Today they were bashing hybrids saying they are treehugger cars, that they dont save you any money in the long run and that if you get into an accident you will get melted by acid leaking from the battery. They also tried to tell me that no one with a Prius is getting milage that is even close to the EPA estimate. They claim that they go on "hybrid forums" and that everyone with a Prius is only getting 40 mpg tops. Get real, people with 5-speed Corollas are getting 43 mpg! :disappoin Bunch of frickin' morons, I tell ya@ :hammer:
Believe me, TN is a great place compared to that forum! :lol: Not everyone on here in a know it all who bashed anything that isnt GM and best of all, here on TN we have the occasional porn post! :D
