They are selling it at Fry's for $88. Until Oct 15.
I don't know, I'm pretty new to this car audio stuff. Just looking for something to make my interior speakers better. I currently have a JVC SX-980 w/ Kicker 6x9s in the rear (100RMS).
I plan to upgrade the front along with the Amp installtion. Just not sure yet to what Front speakers i Want yet.
Well, opinion on the amp. Do you think it's worth the money? Am I on the right track here? A 4ch amp?.

I updated the links above.
Don't waste your money on Jenson. You will regret it. Try and save up alittle more money and look on Ebay for some killer deals on reputable makes like Clarion, Pioneer, Alpine, Rockford, Kenwood. If you wanna go alittle (ok, alot higher) look at PPI, Macintosh, Orion, Nakamichi, Pheonix Gold, Xtant, MMatts etc...Hell, I'd even rather get Sony over Jensen.
Seeing as how you're new the audio thing, I'll tell you right now from experience, don't go cheap! You'll end up having to constantly upgrade, which can get very expensive.
My first system cost me $1000 and I was totally disappointed with it. I ended up upgraded not once, but twice. Even now, I'm still not completly happy.
The amp is the backbone of your system. Don't skimp on it. If you can't get an amp that's gonna pump out enough juice to feed your speakers with adequate pwr, wait and keep saving up money. Nothing is worse than hearing sloppy, cracking, under powered speakers.

that's the same advice that my friend gave to me when i first got into the sound game back in the day. and i'm glad that i listened to his advice. the amp is the HEART of your whole system. the more money you spend, not only do you usually get more power, but also more versatility... as in more channels, crossovers, gains, etc.
if the amp is the heart then the head unit is the brain. both of these things you should not go cheap on.

jesen makes some really crappy stuff. i sell alot of jensen audio products in my store and the all suck ass. they are usually knockoffs of products thats already out on the market. jensen has a big rep. on using very chea parts. but have anyone ever checked out david fisherman with his jensen mini van? very nice install.
