Cable Gauge Selection

i have a sony 760 watt amp to run my sub and i want to get a another one for the 6x9 and front speakers. so should i get a 4 gauge power and ground wire with a distibutor block and 8 guage wire to connect to the amp. please give me your opinion. thanx

I personaly would recommend a 4 Gauge minimum because you never know what might happen in the future. you might want to add aother amp, or upgrade the whole system, that way you won't have to go throught the who hassle of running a wire through the car all over again!

Go with 4 Gauge and trust me on that, it's my job..

which means don't jump on the audio bandwagon before you've done your research....or otherwise known as don't just go to futureshop and get stuff installed there with no idea what's going on....if I'd done more research before, I won't be spending time and effort upgrading now..... :hammer:
