Help! I need transaxle oil seal for a 4agze e58 tranny.i need to know if the mr2 4agze tranny oil seal will work. thanks for ur rply.

We are in the early stages of building a tube frame car for next year's race season and are thinking of the 1MZ engine- mainly for reliability/hp as well as they are a dime a dozen. The question is has anyone seen who this can be done - we have not been anything on the web - thouhg a few people have put them in mr2s the mr2 is a east/west engine not a north south. Have had people say that you need this bellhousing and that gearbox but pics and part numbers are worth a thousand words. Thanks:headbang:

Hey, I'm looking to swap the engine on my '90 Corolla. The engine's running about 280k miles on it and I'd like to put something new in it. I'm new to this, so I'd really appreciate any help I can get, like what engines would fit easily, what extra bits and pieces I may need, etc.
I looked into the swap guide, but it didn't help much, seeing as I'm brand new to all of this.

If anyone can give me a hand on this, that would be amazing.
