Has anybody here gotten good results from Lexol Leather Cleaner or Conditioner?

I noticed that this is what my local dealer sells in the parts department. I also saw it at a local AutoZone.

I don't know how long ago the car was waxed. I washed it and clayed it. The finish is dull on the hood, roof, and trunk. Is paste wax and elbow grease the best way to wax a dull finish ? I used some Meguiar's NXT Gen tech wax that I had left over and there is some streaking on the section that I did. Any suggestions for restoring shine. I don't have a buffer.

I'm trying to find a product to remove some scratches in my '08 Highlander factory wheels. I recently took it in for a tire rotation and balancing and the dealer scratched and scuffed up the wheels. I want to find a product that will be safe to use on the clear coated machined aluminum spokes and painted inserts. Can someone please recommend which product would be best. I'm wondering if I can safely use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound? I'm a little reluctant to use one of the metal wheel polishes on the market, even though some state you can use it on clear coated wheels. Since the wheels are clear coated, would I just treat the scratches the same way I would on a painted portion of the vehicle? Thanks for any assistance!

Hey guys I've got a kind of different question to ask- and that is what is the best method to get the black burnt oil stains off of the rear bumper?

Washing doesn't do SQUAT- but I have found using a Mr. Clean Magic eraser and a hose usually helps but I'm worried the paint might come off eventually doing that too much.

So what do you do??

Winter is on it's way. Time to wax my Venza. I will be using Zymol Waxes.

Has anyone ever used them ? How are they rated ?

My 08 Sienna got a minor scratch in one side were the paint completely came of, the color is Blizzard Pearl. I purchased a touch up paint on-line it was code 071, but it looks like all it is, is the Pearl part of the paint, because is like an almost transparent paint with some white on it, it looks like an egg white. Am I missing something here, is there suppose to be a base paint. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

I recently noticed scratches on the roof of my 4Runner. It looks like a tree or a low clearance sign scratched the roof of my car. I have attached a picture of what it looks like. I was wondering what I should expect to pay to have it fixed. I have also seen some ways to fix scratches yourself. I know the picture isn't the easiest to see and I'm not expected an exact estimate, but I was wondering if this is something I could try to fix myself? If so, what would some people recommend? If not, what would I expect to pay if I brought it in to the dealership to be fixed? Thanks in advanced.

I wanted to wax my car before the winter salt. I opted for the 3M chipguard clear film stuff instead of the bug deflector. I was wondering if anybody had any experience waxing/avoiding waxing the chipguard. Also, does it leave an apparent line or anything where the chipguard ends? Thanks!

I finally had time to detail my car, about time i had a saturday off work, i work weekends and go to school weekdays, so im pretty happy that i was able to get to work on the car today.

sxlostv1, I love that blue! That's the color of my 98 Corolla LE. I'm probably going to trade it in soon on a newer corolla, but I wonder, Do you guys wax your cars? I was told when I bought the car that it never needed waxed. Now the paint is rather dull and I'm wondering if it would help.

The only plastic/rubber protectant I've ever used was Armor All, which was very shiny and extremely greasy, but it always worked for me. When I bought some Meguiars NXT 2.0 Wax a week ago at AAP (haven't tried it yet, and good?), I got the Natural Shine Protectant as a freebie, I tried it and it isn't shiny at all, like the label said. I don't know if I like it because I like to see the results, how can I tell if it's any good? Any opinions about this product? I know all of you hate Armor All with a passion, but I like seeing the results of my work (IE: Shiny, Greasy) and they also now make a natural finish Armor All as well that seems similar to this product.
