All other lights function properly, and the LCD display itself works fine (no problems during the day). I checked across the leads with an ohmeter to verify that the bulb filament is open. Does anyone have a part number or a source for a replacement bulb? I'd hate to be forced to replace the entire unit due to a burnt out bulb!

FACTS:
iSimple Media Gateway TY1 Sirius Connect Kit
SCVDOC1
Stilleto 2
Toyoto Rav 2009 with Navigation Unit

PROBLEM:
I purchased the following item but interchanged the SCC1 for an SCVDOC1 as in theory it should work. I inquired if this was tested before purchasing and it was and it worked with an SCVDOC1. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to work with the Rav 2009 with Navigation Unit.

I am including this link so you know what I am talking about (I am not a spammer I just want a solution)

http://www.tss-radio.com/isimple-med...it-p-6729.html

STEPS:
Geeksquad technie installed it. The ipod functionality works perfect.
However, he cannot get the Sirius Sat to work using the SCVDOC1.
He played with the Dip switches and I believe 1 and 3 got Satellite Radio signal but nothing came through.
He tested with an SCC1 and it works fine.

Called TSS Radio support and confirmed a test was done with the SCVDOC1 but just not this particular radio.....as they did not have to change dip switches. The only suggestion was to test different combinations of Turning on Stiletto first, then ignition, then Radio etc and see if one of the combination works. However, before I bring it back to Geeksquad to test this out (not sure if he may have already done this) I would like a more definite solution to save time. Thus, wondering if anyone has a definite solution that will work for sure with this environment.

Thanks a million!

Hi folks,
have a problem with my celica 2003 alarm. Here's the story. I left disconnected my celica battery for a while. When i connected it i can't disarm the alarm, other times after connecting battery i just turned key to ACC, pressed that led button and it disarmed. Now this doesn't work, siren yells for some time and stops, led button is blinking. The only one thing that i found out that when i open the door (yes, siren starts to yell) and then trying to disarm by turning the key and pressing button, led starts to blink for three times. Could anyone suggest anything to me, how to disarm it, because i even can't start the car. Oh, and another thing, i haven't got a remote (bought my celica without it).

I Have a used(by my son) Panasonic CQ-C7303U and am in the process of putting it in my 99 Corolla VE. I assume that it will fit as it appears to be no bigger or deeper than most of the units previously discussed here. My question concerns the soldering of the interface cables to the Panasonic. The interface cable has all the matching wire colors except for the orange one which is labeled for dash illumination and that makes me think that it also controls the dimming of the factory radio. Since the Panasonic likely has not corresponding wire (has a blue wire for power antenna and a blue white wire for triggering a separate power amp), do I simply cut it off(or tape it) or should it be tied into the red or yellow power wires. The reason I ask is that wiring a similar situation on our Subaru, I thought I had everything just right and ended up with no dash lights at all.

TIA

im running sony xplod (POS) and the JBL sound system speaker.

i have a jl 13tw5 and I'm so disappointed in it, i know its probably not the subwoofer or enclosure but either the head unit or speakers muddying up the sound.

basically im getting great sub response and it hits fine when im playing a song that has a dominant bass line like reggae. or synthesized bass lines like in some trance songs.

but anytime i listen to a song that has a kick drum that is mixed to a low frequency, or a techno song that has a constant quarter note hit, the sound quality depreciates a lot and sounds absolutely horrendous (sounds like something is ripping or falling apart)

if i switch the amp that powers my speakers off, and i step back and turn up my sub everything sounds great. but as soon as i turn the speakers back on its sounds like shit.

could it be because my head unit doesn't allow me to EQ the sub separately from the speakers and just control the system overall?
or are the JBL speakers really that bad?

i am also randomly getting more sound coming out of the right side of my truck. and not my left. so many issues. if anyone can help clarify any of the problems i would appreciate it greatly. thanks.

I need some options. I recently bought a 10in Alpine Type R and a ported enclosure for $140 brand new. Ive had it for about 2.5 weeks now, so its all broken in. The ported box itself is exactly 1.3cu.ft., its what alpine suggested. The only problem i have is that the sub doesnt sound as loud or some times low, like my old 10in. Do you guys think a tuned box and maybe a little bigger box would make a big difference? i know its not gonna hit the low notes as good as a 18in sub or anything, but the lows now sounds wierd.

This is the box i got, pretty cheapo box:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...K+CARPET-.html

Now if i upgraded to his box, will it sound louder and hit the lows a bit better? and worth the extra money?

New to this forum - currently have 2001 Yukon - Plan to buy a 2010 Sequioa Limited soon -available options are DVD Nav system and Rear Seat entertainment system.
1. Sounds like the Nav system gives problems - we don't really want it, but we do want the backup camera- apparently backup can be available with a display on the rear view mirror? So can someone tell me how back-up with mirror can be included instead of NAV system- i.e. part numbers or option numbers? Any advice - experience is welcome
2. Rear seat entertainment system code EY-$1670 vs overhead entertainment system code EN - $999.
Does anyone have Specs on these items? I can get either, trying to determine if the higher price is worth it.
