So I went to check something in the BGB section on Celicatech.com and it looks like they didn't renew their domain rights...anyone have more on this? They have the only BGBs I can find online for the gen5 Celicas!

those look like harden rubber retaining clip, i tried using plier and hammer but it wont move

I have a 2005 celica gt with cold air intake, headers, exhaust, stage 2 clutch, and jet performance chip on the way. I was wondering how the chip will perform and also what else would be good performance upgrades. I am trying to build a n/a motor.

Are these carbs too big for this engine? what PSI should my fuel pump be set for? I have a mild cam in it and the previous owner ran a 2.5" exhaust with a pacesetter header. Does 2.5" seem a little big for this little engine? It seems to be a b$^@* to start and I think it may be dumping too much fuel in. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hi I have recently bought a Gen 7 Celica which is a Japanese import, only to discover my radio is in Japanese and it won't play my cd's! Is there any known way of changing the radio to English??? Or should I give up hope and buy a new radio?

It's my first time here, and the reason I come here is that I need some good advice on what to get in terms of cars.

First of all, I am an avid fan of the Celica, for its looks and style. However, I have never had the chance to drive one. I'm interesting in buying a car, and the local dealership pointed out a 2005 Corolla, and they have a 2001 Celica on the lot at well.

Both are great buys, but as I said, my heart is on the Celica. As my parents already own a 2006 Corolla, I know quite a bit about the Corolla already, its history, and how it performs. My biggest concern right now is that when I pay off the Celica, that it will be quite an old car. So, my questions really are these:

1. From personal experience, how reliable is the Celica?
2. How expensive is it to maintain?
3. How does it handle compared to an average car?
4. How much in comparison to average is the insurance?

I would appreciate this information so I can hopefully join the happy Celica family, and see if it is the right car for me. :)

Thought maybe someone can help me here. Before bashing about searching have en searching for a little while on this and not finding exactly what im looking for.

I have a 1992 5SFE Engine and I own a 92 Celica All Trac. All trac threw its fit and blew another head gasket well what im wanting to do is do the 5sfe block on this head. I have read much about do it other way around in a celica GT. But what bout on all-trac. What will need to be done to make this work? Parts or does it just bolt up? Which headgasket to use?

my dad totaled our car, but after seeing a few cars we decided to keep our celica and fix it...it's a 1997 5pd celica convertible gt special edition 2.2L engine, can some of these parts be substituted w/ different toyota models other than celicas? I heard that these parts can be substituted for different years 94-99 celicas, if any of this is inaccurate please let me know bc I'm going shopping for parts at salvage/junk yards they'll say anything to make a sale or seem like the part is rare

fusebox any 96-97 celica, working but was pierced by one of the lights (not sure if it needs to be from a convertible)

I have a question about my 1990 toyota celica gt 1.6 litre 5 speed.
I would like to convert this front wheel drive car into a rear wheel drive.
I know that the 86 - 89 celica's were rear wheel drive. I was wondering if i could take like the drive axle from one of those 86- 89 celica and change it on my 90 celica gt and make it a rear wheel drive. I was just wondering if i can basically make it into one or do i just have to buy a rear wheel drive car, cause I want to drive drifting in this car as well. any pointers on what i should would be much appreciated.

I'm looking for the plastic underbody panel that goes underneath where you change the oil. It was missing from the car when I bought it. Is there anywhere online where I can get the part?

I havent been on in a while, I havent touched my camry in a while. Just went to get it inspected and they failed it because my intermediate pipe has a bad flange, and its leaking right past the cat. I have only found one intermediate pipe for the 94 camry 2.2, ad started thinking, the celica has the same motor, could the exhaust be similar too? and if so could I match up a catback system for a 94 celica to the camry? Or at least the intermediate pipe?

its been a while

I have 1987 Celica just bought it for my daughter about 2 months ago.It has 143,000 miles on it.It is a automatic.Now it wont ideal it runs maybe 5 seconds then dies have any ideals where to start.
