I was told that I have a 10 speaker set up and the factory front door speakers are made up of one large speaker with a smaller one to the side, and it goes on as one unit. So since the sound is bad on both sides I will remove the door panel to look and see but it's my wife's car and I don't want to damage the panel cause she will make me buy a whole new one. I need to know if there are screws to remove around the handle or if it just pops off. one more question, will after market speakers fit:headbang: in the cavity or do I have to use factory only speakers. When I replaced the rear brakes on my 01 the passanger side went in real easy. When I did the drivers side rear I had to replace the metal clips because they were damaged when I took the inner pad out. Even after cleaning the area the metal clip went in the brake pad still went in pretty tight, is this normal or should I clean it up some more?

the back of my driver's side seat quit working. I can still move it forward and backward but the back no longer moves. Any suggestions?

How's everyone doing? I have an 08 Sequoia and thought about buying a K & N drop in air filter or the Air Charger Kit. Has anyone installed either of them in your Sequoia? Any draw backs such as noise on the air charger kit? What do you recommend? Any feedback is appreciated.

dvd player will not work has anybody else had this problem will show menu but will not play dvd

Had tires rotated today and was told front brake pads have about 5k miles left on them. 45k miles on the car now.

Can someone please tell me what are the recommended pads for the 04 sequoia. Also, can anyone please tell me how to change the pads or point me in the direction of some instructions. I've done other cars before, just not this one. Appears to be pretty easy, just a couple of clips and pins holding the pads in, but not entirely sure what else there might be.

Taking delivery soon on a Platinum and during the test drive I, nor the salesperson, could figure out how to change the tilt angle on the screen. It seems the unit has been changed from an older version that had the button for this to the right of the screen. The latest version has a whole new layout of buttons. I've also went online and reviewed the Nav owners manual and can't find the answer.

I hope it is adjustable because the default angle points too high.

I'm just over 180k miles on the clock and it is time to replace the timing belt. Before I begin I thought I'd ask the forum to see what parts would be good to replace while the front of the motor is apart. I already plan on replacing both idlers and the water pump along with the belt. No idea if the hydraulic tensioner is original or not. Do these guys tend to last?

I did the timing belt/water pump job on my 93 4Runner V6 a couple years ago and according to what I see in the Sequoia FSM this job doesn't seem too different. what else should I look for? what other parts should I replace? any other advice?

We just bought a used sequoia from a dealer in Utah. They only gave us one key and remote. First, it is crazy how much they want for new keys and programming. Do any of you know where or how to get keys cheaper.

Second, the rear wiper is out of wack. It goes on when you push the button on the remote for the window to go and down. It does not stop in the cradle but stops on the back window. The window will not go up or down now from either the inside button, key remote or the actual key hole on the rear panel. Is there any thing I can do to fix this.

Third, we had to break the passenger side widnow out last week. Accidentally locked our 15 month in the vehicle and have no spare keys. Had the window replaced but when you use the automatic mode to roll the window up from either the driver or passenger togle keys it rolls all the way up and then comes back down half ways. Any info on this.

Hello all, this is my first post and search through this forum. i will search for previous ones similar to my question. We have a 2001 Sequioa 4x4 limited, stock and no mods on it. has 70k on it and i used it the other day to pull a small trailer with bricks and brush in 4x4 hi through an hill of dirt in the back. Was really quick but after that the 4x4 HI light will not stop blinking. i've tried every way to unlock it and get it to 2hi, in nuetral, reverse, hi low, anything but it won't pop out. can anyone tell me what to do? Where can i find one and install it myself.

I have a 04 Sequoia 4WD that just finished 64K miles. I came back from the dealer after an oil change and he gave me a “list”

Since this is going to be first major service (except tires), I need your recommendations.

I just got new tires and I was told that my front brake pads are @ 25-30% and rear brake pads can be changed at the same time.

I have done transmission oil flush and fills on a van but not on a Sequoia.

I have few questions

Can Sequoia transmission oil be drained and flushed without lowering the transmission pan? I usually do a drain/fill/drive/drain/fill to get the most of transmission oil out.

I just have owners manual and have no information on maintenance schedules. However my last trusted privet shop told me that Tranny/differential oils are not scheduled until 100K.

What is required at 60K miles service schedule? It has been driven in 4WD during Midwest winters (got rust at bottom and Hitch - I wonder how to turn it to black, spray some "RustEater" ?

sorry guys! i'm a newbie here and i'm sure someone else already post this issues but i need help badly.

i own a 03 sequoia sr5 and after installed the HID kit, my fog light is not working no more. i redo every thing three times and still fog light is not working. everytime fog light switch is on the hid jumped to high beam. but if i plug a regular bulb with the kit then i get my fog light back. so i don't know what is going on but i bought this kit from ebay and it's a bi-xenon beam kit. i emailed the seller and they told me that i need to have professional guy look at it. but i told them that it's a plug and play hook up so the kit must be bad and they haven't answer back yet.

does anyone experience this and was able to solve the problem? does anyone have this issue at all? or is this a bad kit?

I have just changed timing belt on my 2003 sequoia. The change was what i thought a succes until i saw the check engine, trac off, vsc trac light came on. I got the car diagnosed from auto zone and the computer says that it is the cam shaft sensor. The guy who did the diagnostic said that the cam has nothing to do with the traction control. He also said that you might need to adjust the sensor. Problem is neither he nor I know how to do that. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
