Thumbs up Hairline Crack on Windshield

Greetings,
The other morning, I noticed a hairline crack going through my windshield. It wasn't there the evening before and it wasn't caused by a rock hitting the windshield.

My Taco is less than 1 year old. Would this be covered by the warranty??

THANKS!!!

If there's no impact mark of any kind anywhere along the crack, you MAY be able to get the dealer to cover it under warranty. But if there's anything that even looks like an impact point, I wouldn't even bother taking it to the dealer.

I'm on my second one. They are pretty cheesy windshields and crack easily.

You can try the dealer. If not, what does your insurance policy cover?

The other problem is that the Tacoma windshield is angled so far to the vertical. The lack of a rake means that rocks don't just bounce up and off the glass. The glass bears the full force of the impact.
