Leaf springs

I have an 03 and I have 3 and then the helper. I have been asking allot about the leafs on my truck and have found that they are not the greatest and fail fairly easly when haulling heavy loads and to replace them is $1000.00 + . My guess is that your asking because your truck's springs are flat and or are bowed down either on one end or both (the same issue I have). I was told by two diproformance shops to add the air bag helpers and leave the springs (if they are not cracked) this will cost less and will help keep your truck level.

Also I have add a 3" lift kit (add a leaf) and this helped but with where the add a leaft stopped my stock leaf springs still bowed down.

Dave.
