I'll have more details about the bumper soon.
This bumper would also be nice for Tacomas that didn't come with a towing hitch. A towing hitch is like $200, so you have to consider that when you're thinking about the price.

Looks like a lot more clearance to me, especially if you have the stock towing hitch, which hits the ground all the time while wheeling.

So you remove the stock hitch? How's the strength on the tow hitch on the bumper compare to the stock ClassIII?

How would you know if it hits the ground wheeling...your truck has never been dirty to my knowledge...

Your knowledge is lacking.
It gets muddy. I just always wash it the next day. I detail cars part-time, so I gotta keep my image clean.

Somebody is making some money. That same exact bumper was $550+ shipping less than 1 year ago, and that was straight from Rocktek. That's some pretty serious inflation on manhours and/or the price of steel in 6 months.

Same thin I was thinking. At $550 I was considering it but at $800 I will build my own.

Yeah, I just saw that. I'm looking into it.
Maybe $550 was for that individual prototype?
I'll find out.
I was going to call them direct but Rockteks website doesn't work, and I can't find a phone number.
