car alarm volume too low IMHO

This may be a stupid question but,

Can you set volume on the "chirp" sound when activating and deactivating factory installed car alarm? I live on busy street and I can hardly hear it when locking or unlocking car.

I havent set alarm off to check that volume though.

I don't know the answer, but there is a visual clue. . .watch the side lights as you set/release the lock.

Obviously the flashing lights are helpful at night but not so much during the day. but thanks ..

I wonder how loud is the alarm itself?

I agree with this issue because I feel the same way. I find it hard to hear sometimes when locking and unlocking my venza. Hopefully there is a way to make this louder or just use the visuals of the turn signal lights flashing. The alarm itself is loud enough.... accidentally set it off by pressing the button on the fob when I was getting in the passenger seat when my wife wanted to drive it.
