Gen6 Trailer hitch / Bike Rack - 07 Camry XLE

Hi all...

I was wondering if anyone had any experience or suggestions for a bike rack for the 07 Camry XLE? Do I need to install a hitch? Is there a factory one available from Toyota?

Suggestions are welcome!

Thanks

Jack

A quick web search will turn up options for bike racks for both roof and rear mount. Rear mount would require a hitch, which is a simple job to install.

Reese products has both the rear hitch and the bike rack. It does require some drilling through the trunk. I have one of their hitches on my 94 along with their bike rack and have been very happy with it, although that one was just a bolt on application after removing the tie down hooks. I never toe anything; it's just there for the use with the bike rack. I don't know if I would be comfortable driiling through the trunk of the 2007 I have on order. This is the rust belt. In my case I'll just use the 94 when going biking.
