Couldn't find the video camera...too bad because it would have been much easier to understand with the vid camera. Anyways here we go...
Start by gathering your supplies, all you need is tape, a credit card or putty knife if you prefer and your decal. You might also need a safety pin (not shown) for getting the air out later if you need it.
Prepare and clean the location where you are applying the decal. I just used a sponge and water nothing special.
DO NOT USE WINDEX, Toku stated earlier that there is something about these decals that doesn't like windex and it wont stick properly.
Start by putting one or two pieces of tape on the side of the decal that will be furthest from you this will make it easier later so you don't need friggin three hands to get the thing started. Also I found that the edges were folded over on mine so you're gonna have to remember to unfold the edges before.
Line up the decal make sure it's level and EXACTLY where you want it before the next step because YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPOSITION IT LATER WITHOUT A LOT OF DIFFICULTY. Also the more times you unstick the decal the less sticky it will become and you wont be able to put it back on or it wont bond to the glass like it should.
Remove the backing that is protecting the sticky side of the decal.
Take your credit card/putty knife and angle it away from you and slowly smooth the decal onto the window while holding the part that you haven't applied yet away from the window. Use the edge of the credit card to apply the decal to the window this will help prevent bubbles. (I did this before taking the picture sorry it's a two handed process and my camera is too big to fit in my mouth

)
Once you apply the decal fully take the card/putty knife and go over the decal to smooth it more and make sure all parts of the decal are sticking to the glass. Do this a few times just to be sure. DO NOT SMOOTH THE DECAL WITH THE CREDIT CARD ANGLED IN THE DIRECTION YOU ARE SMOOTHING!!! If you do this the edge of the card could catch the paper and rip off part of your decal. Always point the edge of the card in the opposite direction your hand is moving. If I was pulling towards me this would be the wrong way:
Next start removing the final protective backing, you could start on ether side but it's easier to start on the side without the tape. Double the backing over on itself and peel away SLOWLY making sure none of the letters come off.
Once you pull off enough start pulling the backing off over itself at a 45 degree angle upwards. This will help keep letters from coming off.
Try to keep you hands as close to the letters as possible. GO SLOW take your time...if a letter starts peeling off then stop and take you finger and help it get off the backing then smooth it out with your finger.
If you find you still got air bubbles after all this then you can take a safety pin or any pin really.
Poke a hole in the edge of the air bubble just enough to punture the bubble not enough to make a huge hole.
Use your finger to push out the air towards the bubble and smooth the decal.
rinse and repeat with all the air bubbles if needed.
You should end up with a smooth looking decal without bubbles
Stand back and enjoy your beautiful decal
