I have talked with the dealer repeatedly and am waiting to talk with a toyota rep about it. Here is a pic of my toyota. Oh, I also drive my truck very nicely. When in town I accelerate at a slower rate, rarely getting above 2000 RPM's. I drive on the highway 60-65. I don't race my truck or drive it hard by any means. It does seem to get better mileage when I drive it a little harder, not real hard but not like a 90 year old woman. Tried doing that on one tank and got barely 12 MPG. Oh and my parking break isn't on either! LOL!
I also have a dbl cab L/B and averaged 18 mpg using regular unleaded before installing a supercharger.
My mileage now averages a little over 20 mpg using premium with charger. Currently fill ups are about $75.00.

how'd you know that I was holding back?

just seems like common sense to me...heavier truck = less mpg.

whining about it when you add HUGE tires on a LITTLE truck is pointless.

Now I just need to wait for someone to get an '09, ditch their factory head unit, and sell it to me dirt cheap.

I would also want their Tailgate handle with camera and rear-view Mirror

If what you say is true, may I suggest you try releasing the parking brake before your next highway adventure?

Wow after seeing that picture which looks official I'm debating waiting on an 09. I have been waiting 3 months for an Indigo Ink. I know it will be discontinued and is hard to find with the options I want. Second choice is black and if the dealer doesn't come through by next week I may just hold out for the 09. Sad they are dropping the Indigo and not replacing with another blue.

Hmmm decisions decisions

Whats funny is that when talking to my salesguy when I was doing the paperwork on this truck, I mentioned how much I wished Toyota had the dark green still, green is my favorite color and I was sad I couldn't get a Tacoma with it. Literally that night I come on here and see the spec sheet. Oh well, I may have one of the final Indigo Ink double cab TRD Tacomas. It was made in April.

The center of the grill is now painted.
