Memorial Day Detail
Hi folks,
After washing and waxing my 2000 Camry for the first time, of course now I can see some tiny paint chips missing (and one or two very small rust spots).
For those with detail experience, what are my options? Should I attempt to fix this myself? If I take it in, should I go with a dealer or a detail shop? Which is cheaper? Which does a better job?
Thanks for any info you can provide!
Brian

if your not to picky about the color difference.. go to walmart or a local automotive store see if they have the dupli-color strach and fix touch up paint.. also dont forget to get the clear coat if your going that route.

Haha, this is funny. I just washed my car too. Well, first time so inexperience I had to come twice because I did not hand dry it and the soap residues were on so much...

I just used touch-up paint from the dealership to fill in the chips. It looks okay from far away but up close, you can still tell the chips are there.
