T100 Toyota Noise
When I accelerate in my T100 , I have a strange spuddering sound. It doesnt effect the way my truck runs. But when in the lower gears 1,2,3 theres a strange sound when I accelerate. When im in idle and rev the engine I do not hear the noise. I looked under neath the truck and saw the my heat shield is burn away a little bit. Thats the only thing I could find that could be possibly making that noise.
Any help on this issue is very appeciated. Thanks

Maybe there is a hole in your muffler or catalytic converter.

Arizona T100 contacts
these posts are somewhat dated, but since both are from AZ i hope to make contact with other t100 owners
i have the 2.7L 4 and am interested in exchanging thoughts on upkeep, repair frequency, common problems.
I just bought an accessory the scangage from Linear Logic in Mesa that reads the ISO connector for check engine and trip info
Has anyone tried to improve on the gas mileage?
I am doing ok at about 25 mpg average.

Xero, did you ever find out what the noise was? I have the same noise behind the dash and just posted it as well in another thread.

Exhaust
I am pretty sure that your noise is most likely an exhaust leak. I have the same problem with my 1997.
