Doing an Engine Replacment

My toyota echo engine blew 3 holes in the block a few weeks ago and I replaced it with a new engine. I got the engine and tranny back in and it starts fine, but the shifter is stuck in fourth gear. I cant move it out of fourth. The shifter will move side to side but will not go into a gear and will not move into 1st,3rd, or 5th. If anyone knows what the model number of the manual tranny is in an Echo is that would be really helpful! Also anywhere I could get a diagram of the transmission. Thanks!

Check the linkages from the shifter to the transmission, maybe one of them is stuck. Happened to me on a Protege 5, shifter was very hard to move and it turned out one of the linkages was stuck.
