T100 - various quiestions
How rare or common is a T100 in 4x4 form? What cab types were available, and common to find? Did they all have AC?
What years was the T100 available?

4x4 T100s seem to be more common around here than the 2wd versions. The extended cab version was available from 95 on. There are quite a few of them in this area. I haven't seen any 4-door versions. As I recall, AC was an option, but common in this area. The first year was '93, I think. I don't know when they were discontinued.

Toyota produced the T100 from 93-98. From 93-95, they featured the 3VZ-E SOHC 3.0L engine. In '96, Toyota offered the 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6. Unfortunately, the demand just wasn't great enough to compete with the big 3.

Is there a particular year or type best to avoid?
Is the AC good on this vehicle?
Thanks!

I would stick with the 96+ model years. They have the 3.4L V6 and can be supercharged. The 95.5 T100 also had the 3.4L but the ECU doesn't take too well to the supercharger.
I forgot to answer part of your question, too. The T100s were made in a regular cab long bed 4x2, regular cab long bed 4x4, extra cab short bed 4x2 and extra cab short bed 4x4.

I have a 92 and when I ran it through car-fax.com it said it was an extended "X-CAB". It also has A/C, power steering, power brakes, multi port fuel injection. Is it not a T100 like I thought?

Every source I have seen says the extended cab T100 was not available until '95. I know they were not available when I bought my '94 (they are not mentioned in the '94 factory shop manual, either). My T100 is marked "T100" on the doors and the tailgate.
