The reason the TSB has not been released in the USA is b/c there are no parts available. Maybe b/c they are putting the leafs on the 07 Tacomas first.
Just dropped off my truck at the Stealer. The Service Manager mentioned that Toyota will have the shock, bumpstop, leaf assembly available by end of July.
Let's see if they keep their word. I guess I'll wait on my 3" lift until then; poor TC UCAs are sitting lonely in my bedroom floor.
Smurph, thanks for the info. Timing on this is perfect. This will be my third set of springs. First for noise, then I broke one. Since then I installed the Toytec kit with the AAL and have had no issues but the squeek is starting again and I'm a little tail high as I only have the 884 coils in front - no spacer. Just so you know, if you go with just the coils, there are no alignment issues.
Did the TSB include shocks and bump stops? I'm thinking of adding the Timbren stops and may as well get the dealer to put them in during the TSB.
I know this has been mentioned many times, but is worth bringing up again.--- The Hellwig 1,500's are only $120 and can be installed in a half hour or so in your driveway. I like these so much that I don't even care if Toyota does a leaf switch or not because I'm more than happy with mine.
It rides only a little stiffer and raised the rear only an inch or less and easily hauls a half ton in the bed and a trailer with 1,600 lbs. It doesn't sag the rear more than an inch.
Best. Mod. Ever.

SU006-07: 05-06 Tacoma 4x4 & PreRunner: Rear Spring Harsh Ride
This is the USA TSB. It includes new 4 leaf rear springs all TRD models and rear springs plus 4 shocks on non TRD models. Parts are available. I had my local dealer order them and they arrived next day. I still need to arrange time to get them installed.
Some customers may experience a harsh ride from the rear suspension while carrying
heavy cargo in the bed and driving over bumps or uneven road surfaces. Updated rear
spring assemblies and front and rear shocks are available to improve this condition.
NOTE:
Customers should be advised that vehicle ride characteristics in an unloaded
condition may exhibit an increase in rear suspension firmness.

Do you have a pdf or a scanned copy of the sheet you have?
So SU006-07 is the number for the TSB? Are they saying it only applies to 05 and 06s? Because I only have a 3 leaf rear and it sucks...
Would'nt it be sweet if we could get them to put the 5100's in instead.
Actually I wonder if we could get them to give a price break on the difference. Or take the new blisteens to a parts store and swap/upgrade them and install the 5100's ourselves.
