Question about '97 T100 rear axle seal
Trying to figure out why my right rear axle seal keeps leaking. I have a 1997 T100 Extra Cab SR5 V-6 5-speed and I have replaced the right rear seal 3 times, and even replaced the right rear axle with a brand new one, and the seal is still not holding after only a few months of wear. Please let me know if any ideas. Thanks

Same here. I did both sides when my Left Rear seal started leaking and it continues to leak, and lots of it. Did you find a solution?

Check with the dealer, Toyota got a recall about it. I got mine done. They told me that, a spacer is needed to fix the problem. By the way, they even got to do the same thing before they found a so called solution. Good luck guys
