Pickup Truck and SUV recalls....
Toyota has announced recalls for 978,000 pickup trucks and SUVs over concerns for the power steering system on those vehicles.Apparently there is a rod that links the steering wheel to the wheels which may fracture when the steering wheel is turned while the vehicle is stationary.The vehicles affected include 4Runners, T100sand regular pickups built between the years 1989 and 1998.Owners will be notified soon, around mid-september according to my info. Apparently Ford has issued some recalls as well for some electrical problem having to do with the cruise control starting engine fires.....
