USA Throttle body spacer

Does anyone know if installing a throttle body spacer on a 3.4L is worth it?

I wouldn't waste money on a TB spacer. I cannot say for sure, at least not from my person exprience how a TB will peform on the 3.4L, but on other applications where guys have used TBs, all agree that TB spacers are a waste of money and some have removed them to use as a paper weigh in their office to at least get some use out of them. If you haven't already, go with an intake kit. If you still want more, add a 16" Derale Electric Fan, Ignition System Upgrade, Headers and exhaust system upgrade. Your 3.4 will respond nicely to these mods with a modest (2-3 MPG improvement). If you want more seat of the pant feel without adding a supercharger, re-gear to 4:10 gears but don't go above a 31" tire. Once you start adding performance mods, you probably want more and more as I have in the past. The TRD supercharger is the best bolt on mod for the 3.4 to really bring it alive...remember, premium gas only after this mod.

Good luck...let us know what you decide.

Sorry about the delay. What kind of ignition components are there that would work with the 3.4? Do you know how well a Flowmaster dual outlet muffler would help?
